Front Desk Attendant

THE ROLE
THE FIRST POINT OF CONTACT
Surf Haus Wellness is a recovery and performance center in Long Beach, NY, offering cold plunges, steam, sauna, red light therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, along with IV drips, through our partner Mana Warrior Health. The front desk attendant runs the guest side of the floor: arrivals, the day's schedule, questions about treatments, and the condition of the space between appointments.
The role reports to the facility manager and works on-site during operating hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Check guests in and orient them to the space.

Manage the daily schedule, including bookings, changes, and cancellations.

Answer customer questions about treatments, memberships, and pricing.

Clean and reset the space thoughout the day.
Requirements
Experience at a front desk, in hospitality, or in another customer-facing role.
Comfortable with scheduling and point-of-sale software.
Clear, calm communication in person, by phone, and over email.
Weekend availability.
Schedule & PayEMPLOYMENTPart-time or full-time.
SCHEDULEWeekday or weekend shifts, set with the facility manager.
